Authorities are working to piece together the events that led to three men being shot early Friday morning in Keyes, as circumstances surrounding the incident remain unknown.

Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the 5300 block of 9th Street around 3 a.m. Friday. Moments later, a separate 911 call alerted officers that three men—suffering from multiple gunshot wounds—had entered a nearby residence seeking help. Emergency medical services and fire personnel were quickly dispatched to assist the victims.

All three men received on-scene treatment before being transported to local hospitals, though their current conditions remain unclear. Deputies secured the area and called in the Major Crimes Unit as detectives launched their investigation into what led to the shooting.

At this time, authorities have not released information about suspects, motives, or any possible connections between the victims and the scene of the shooting.

As the investigation unfolds, law enforcement officials promise to release further details as they become available.
