A Turlock couple is facing multiple criminal charges in connection with a series of thefts from coin-operated machines in Roseville.

The Roseville Police Department arrested Robert Miller, 49, and Cynthia Patrias, 49, both of Turlock on suspicion of grand theft, conspiracy and vandalism. Miller also was charged with burglary.

Patrias was arrested on July 10 and Miller was taken into custody Monday morning.

The two are believed to have drilled the locks out of coin boxes at Laundromats and car washes in Roseville on June 14 and 21.

Investigators are looking at other similar thefts in the counties of Sacramento, Yuba, El Dorado and San Joaquin between February and June for any connections to either suspect.

The loss and damage done to the machines was estimated at $21,000.

Both remain in custody at the Placer County Jail. Patrias is being held on a $35,000 bail and Miller has a bail of $135,000.
