The Turlock Police Department received 620 total calls, 475 calls for service and reported 150 officer-initiated calls from Oct. 1-4, 2026.

The department took 65 reports, responded to 15 traffic collisions and made 30 arrests.

Arrests for Oct. 1-4, 2026:

  • Bryon Peterson, 20, was arrested in the 3100 block of James Lane on Oct. 1 for Obstructing a peace officer.
  • Amir Jones, 21, was arrested in the 3100 block of James Lane on Oct. 1 for disorderly conduct with alcohol and obstructing a peace officer.
  • Maninder Singh, 32, was arrested in the 200 block of S. Walnut Road on Oct. 1 for disorderly conduct with alcohol.
  • Charlie Garcia, 19, was arrested in the 1200 block of Cahill Avenue on Oct. 1 for contacting a minor with intent for sex and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor more than three years younger.
  • Robert Gallegos, 64, was arrested in the 500 block of Gettysburg Street on Oct. 1 for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant and obstructing a peace officer.
  • Jeffrey Lateer, 72, was arrested in the 900 block of N. Broadway on Oct. 1 for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant.
  • Eric Ortiz, 18, was arrested in the 1300 block of N. Golden State Boulevard on Oct. 3 for battery with serious bodily injury.
  • Jose Segovia, 26, was arrested in the 1300 block of N. Golden State Boulevard on Oct. 3 for battery with serious bodily injury and assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm.
  • Linda Valencia, 29, was arrested on the corner of N. Walnut Road and N. Golden State Boulevard on Oct. 3 for disorderly conduct with alcohol.
  • James Horne, 57, was arrested in the 200 block of S. Broadway on Oct. 3 for battery.
  • Cathy Young, 38, was arrested in the 300 block of S. First Street on Oct. 3 for trespassing.
  • Donte Turner, 46, was arrested on the corner of South Avenue and S. Soderquist Road on Oct. 4 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.

Geovanni Ortiz, 40, was arrested in the 1300 block of N. Golden State Boulevard on Oct. 4 for assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm and battery with serious bodily injury.
