A Turlock woman is facing assault charges after she allegedly attacked a school employee at Pitman High School Thursday morning.

Janet Gong, 43, was taken into custody and arrested for assault on a school employee and assault on school grounds, according to the Turlock Police Department.

Gong was at the high school to discuss an enrollment issue that turned into a verbal argument with a school employee, according to the police report.

At some point, Gong allegedly took a swing at the employee and although she missed, the action did result in her arrest by the school resource officer on campus.
