Pitman High is gearing up for its homecoming week festivities including a rally and parade on its Christoffersen Parkway campus on Friday, prior to the evening’s football game against Modesto High.

Meet the Pride homecoming Queen and King candidates:

Nominee: Stefanie Rodriguez

Parents: Christine Rodriguez and Enrique Rodriguez

One thing learned from PHS: Is the importance of teamwork.

Future Plan: Wants to attend a 4-year college.

Nominee: Vivian Parra

Parents: Jose Parra and Ana Rodriguez

One thing learned from PHS: Is how to be humble and kind and also organized.  She also says that she has learned good communication skills.

Future Plan: She plans to go to Merced College and then transfer to UC San Diego. She wants to major in elementary school education and minor in communication disorders too eventually pursue her career as a daycare provider.

Nominee: Hector Flores

One thing learned from PHS: To embrace the diversity in others.

Future Plan: His plan is to attend Chico State University and major in Agricultural Education.

Nominee: Jocelyn Granados

Parents: Dawn Granados and CJ Granados

One thing learned from PHS: To always “dream big” and to reach for my goal.

Future Plan: Her future plans are to go to college and to become an elementary school teacher.

Nominee: Kevin Romo

Parents: Martha Romo and Pablo Romo

One thing learned from PHS: To be kind to the people around you and make as many memories as possible as they will be all you’ll have left.

Future Plan: He plans on attending a 4 year university and majoring in kinesiology.

Nominee: Bryce VanAllen

One thing learned from PHS: According to Bryce “I am just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.”

Future Plan: He plans on going to Cal Poly and major in Engineering.

Nominee: Seth Zaragoza

One thing learned from PHS: Seth has learned to never give up on your passions, no matter the obstacles!

Future Plan: He plans to pursue a career in medicine.

Future Plan: He plans to become a Physical Therapist.

Nominee: Taylor Lopes

One thing learned from PHS: Taylor has learned that time flies by and to take advantage of every day, good or bad.

Future Plan: She plans to attend Cal Poly and become a large animal vet.

Future Plan: She plans to attend Stan State and major in education.

Nominee: Jon Edwards

One thing learned from PHS: Jon says that he has learned how to put myself out there. 

Future Plan: He plans to become a piano musician.

Nominee: Landyn Mills

One thing learned from PHS:  Landyn has learned to enjoy the little moments in life because nothing lasts forever. 

Future Plan:  She plans to further her education by attending college.

One thing learned from PHS: Kendall says that he has learned that nothing is given to you, you have to earn it.

Future Plan: His future plan is wrestling D1 in college.

Nominee: Kyle Tran

One thing learned from PHS: Anything is possible as long as you put your passion and heart into something.

Future Plan: His plan is to attend a university and double major in Business and Administration and either study film or become a principal.

Nominee: Kade Morris

One thing learned from PHS: during his time here is to never settle and never quit!

Future Plan: His future plan is to play baseball at the next level.

Nominee: Anuraj Kaur

One thing learned from PHS: is that hard work leads to great things, even when it is unnoticed.

Future Plan: She plans on going to San Jose State and get her bachelor's degree and later become a Physician Assistant.

Nominee: Alaiza Toscano

Parents: Leticia and Joe Toscano

One thing learned from PHS: is we promote “stay classy” even when in doubt or bad situations, always stay classy.

Future Plans: She plans to go to a four-year college right after high school and study sociology.  In addition, Alaiza is interested in real estate and trying out as an NFL cheerleader.

Nominee: Nicole Larios

Parents: Norma and Vicente Larios

One thing learned from PHS: she has learned that we’re more than just friends and teammates, we’re family!

Future plans are to become a doctor.
