Delhi High school will be hosted its 3rd annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration on Wednesday.  The community event included an elaborate art gallery that Delhi High School students put together, along with folkloric dances, student performances and traditional food.

“We’ve had galleries in the past just in the classroom setting, but we thought it would be great to involve the community and bring everybody together,” said Delhi High Spanish teacher Maria Cuevas.

“We are going back to our roots and we are remembering those who have passed away. Although this is predominantly Hispanic, there are a lot of our students who are not and have embraced this tradition here at Delhi High School,” said Delhi High math teacher Rosa Gonzalez.
