Javier Garcia

July 26, 1960 – Apr 4, 2024

Javier Garcia, a resident of Turlock, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 4, 2024. He was 63 years old. 

Javier was born on July 26, 1960 in Mendota, CA to parents Severiano and Juanita Garcia. 

He graduated from Tranquility High School in 1979. That same year he married the love of his life, Alvesa Garcia, on February 28th. 

Together they had three beautiful daughters, Claudia, Rebecca, and Alexia. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed attending his grandkids sporting events, dance recitals, and loved to volunteer at their schools. Javier also volunteered at Emanuel Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Severiano and Juanita Garcia.

Javier leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Alvesa Garcia; his daughters, Claudia (Josh), Rebecca (Oscar), Alexia (Rolando); his grandchildren, Isaac, Andy, Rene, Isabella, Naima, James, and Julian; his siblings, Margaret, Tom, Consuelo, Virginia, Rachel, Daniel, Yolanda, and Elva; he also leaves behind his in-laws, several nieces and nephews.

Javier was a loving and hard working husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all. May he rest in heavenly peace.

A visitation is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at Turlock Funeral Home.
