EDUCATION: PIONEER DAY
Wakefield 5th graders Hector Molina (left) and Jorge Cruz figure out horseshoe chain puzzles during Wakefield Elementarys Pioneer Day. In 5th grade students learn about U.S. History and the great migration to the West via the Oregon Trail. This year students dressed up in pioneer attire such as cowboy hats for the boys and aprons and bonnets for the girls.
