The Carnegie Arts Center has a few holiday programs to offer to the community this December.

For jazz fans, the Carnegie is hosting Jingle Bell Jazz, with the Little Big Band from Stanislaus State. The jazz band, made up of former and current students, will perform jazzy renditions of some favorite holiday tunes.

The show is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and tickets are $5 for Carnegie members and students and $10 for general admission.

For families looking for some holiday fun, the Carnegie has just the right cup of tea, or rather cocoa in this case. The Family Friday event at 7 p.m. Dec. 15, will be a pajama party and a movie night.

The party will include crafts, cookies, cocoa and a showing of the animated version “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

Everyone is invited to come in their pajamas and slippers and bring a cozy blanket or snuggle buddy for the movie.

The family event has free admission.

Also on Dec. 15, the Carnegie will be hosting a trunk show for the holidays. The Carnegie has invited crafters, vendors, and artists to the pop-up show that will give shoppers a bevy of unique gift options for the holidays.

The trunk show will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Carnegie Arts Center is located at 250 N. Broadway, Turlock.
