— It’s all about the appetizers. Bite sized foods eliminate the surplus of paper and plastic dining ware that you might need when providing a full dinner spread. Stick to chips and dips, sliders, slow cooker little smokies and other small treats for munching on throughout the game.

— Buy less, get more. This year, purchase party supplies like drink and food options, in bulk. This will ensure for less packaging trash at the end of the night.

— Make it easy. Next to your trash can, make sure there is a clearly labeled recycling bin available for your guests to use. Seeing two options will make them think twice about what they are throwing away, and where.
