Artist Reception: The Carnegie Arts Center will host an artist reception for its two newest Lobby Gallery exhibitions: “Painting Poetry: Works by Jennifer Fosgate”  and “Coming Together: Art & the Written Word” from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Turlock Ghost Walk: The Turlock Historical Society will host its annual Downtown Turlock Ghost Walk at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Learn about Turlock’s historic and haunted past. This is about a two-hour walking tour with several flights of stairs. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased at 208 E Main St. or by phone at 209 669-7000.

Friday Night Jazz: The Carnegie Arts Center will host a jazz concert and jam session from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. The evening will feature the Barb Shinaver Quartet. Bring your horns and join the open jam session for the last 40 minutes of the show. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students and are available at the door. All Hallows Faire: The 17th annual All Hallows Faire will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, 2465 Gunclub Rd., Angels Camp.
