The Central Park Evening Market kicked off its second consecutive season Thursday night at Central Park in Downtown Turlock, welcoming hundreds of visitors looking to peruse booths filled with produce, homemade goods, handpicked flowers and more.
“We want to build on what we’ve started,” said market operator Valeria Jimenez. “We want to continue to grow and be a part of the community.”
Differences in the market between this season and last include more produce, said Jimenez, and even more food vendors than before. The market is building on the success of its inaugural year, and has more vendors overall this year, including artisan jewelers, beauty curators and candle crafters.
“I love this market,” Heather Sharma said. Her business, Mobaak Aromatherapy Collections, was a part of the Central Park Evening Market last year, and she’s excited to be back.
“It’s shaded here, and the live music is a plus as well,” she said. “There’s a really cool ambiance here at this market.”
