Kindergarten students from Crowell Elementary School got an up-close experience with dental tools at First Step Dental on Friday. Unlike most trips to the dentist, however, this field trip was a fun experience. The dental group put on tours for local elementary students to promote dental health. Kids learned about dental topics from tooth brushing techniques to proper nutrition. First Step Dental hoped to promote February as national children’s dental health month, and encourage students and parents to seek dental treatment at an early age.
