Air Force Airman 1st Class Joshua C. Adi graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Adi is the son of Michelle B. and Lambert G. Adi, grandson of Stella G. Adi,  and son-in-law of Daniel P. Borras, all of Turlock, and husband of Kaitlin B. Adi.

He is a 2006 graduate of John H. Pitman High School. He earned an bachelor's degree in 2012 from San Jose State University.
