For over 25 years, the Kiwanis Club of Greater Turlock has donated hundreds of pumpkins to Cunningham Elementary School just in time for Halloween. This year, member Larry DeBoara said that the club supplied approximately 700 pumpkins from RAM Farms to students in first through sixth grade in order to “give these kids a chance to have a pumpkin when maybe they can’t afford it at home.” As owner of RAM Farms, Ron Macedo said that he has provided the pumpkins for the past decade for to “allow all kids to take part in Halloween.”

Save Mart Supermarket on Geer Road celebrated its grand re-opening on Wednesday by giving away free groceries, making charitable contributions, and holding a grocery-bagging competition between members of the city’s police and fire departments.
