Christmas on Main Street, a two-weekend, holiday-themed downtown market, will finish up this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Main Street between First and Broadway.

“The community really showed up last week,” said event co-organizer Stephanie Torres. “It rained the whole time, but one vendor mentioned that she completely sold out, despite the rain. Turlock really showed up for us.”

Santa’s elves will make another appearance on Saturday, helping kids write letters to Santa and supervising arts and crafts projects.

Also on Saturday, at noon and again at 12:30 p.m., ballet dancers from the Deborah Morgan Dance Studio will be on hand to perform selections from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker.” Then, on Sunday, Santa will be back on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to take pictures with good little boys and girls.

On Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests can enjoy the live music of local musicians Us4Love and Kenny Moore.
