The collision happened around 4 p.m. Saturday on southbound Highway 99, near the Main Street exit.

The man was driving a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo southbound at an undetermined speed when for some reason he made an unsafe turning movement, according to the California Highway Patrol.
