Monitor your water usage online

Would you like to know how much water you are using? By creating an online account with the City of Turlock at www.CityofTurlock.org and linking your utility account, you can access your water meter readings at any time.

You can view your monthly, daily and even hourly meter readings to track your water consumption at home. By viewing hourly meter readings, you can determine how much water you are using during your landscaping watering or how many gallons you use during a shower.

Additionally, a comparison of water usage with similar homes is displayed, which is based on lot size and number of rooms in the home. Further, users are also able to calculate the required 32 percent water use reduction amount, based on the number of occupants in the home.

To sign up for an online account, visit the City of Turlock website at www.CityofTurlock.org and click the “view your water usage” icon on the home page.

For more information on how to sign up for an online account, or for other information on water conservation in general, call the City of Turlock’s Municipal Services Department at (209) 668-5590.

WATER CONSERVATION TIP #13

Conserve water and prevent clogs: Use a wastebasket for trash, not the toilet.
