Jozel Williams Noe and her family have only lived in Turlock for two years, but her passion for arts and crafts has already helped her create strong bonds within the community.
Noe, a huge fan of holidays and decorating, has been creating wreaths for as long as she can remember, making wreaths for family and friends. After transitioning to a full-time stay-at-home mother, she decided to test the waters of doing business in Turlock.
“I have always had a passion for making things beautiful because that always brings a smile to someone,” Noe explained. “Wreaths have always been something that I enjoy as they allow me to express myself whether it be making a custom sign welcoming someone to my home or a scripture for the holidays. I thought why not start making wreaths again and see how they do here in Turlock.”
In early April, Noe officially launched her own business, Wreath Creations by Jozel. Since then, she has been able to help create countless memories within Turlock.
Noe explained that the busiest time of the year for her is usually in the fall or during the Christmas season. Even though her business has not been in operation long enough to experience the holiday season, she expects similar trends.
In the meantime, Noe has found another popular audience for her creations, one that she is incredibly proud to serve.
“Lately, I have had a lot of requests for military wreaths,” she said. “I’m always honored when I get asked to make one. I feel like it’s a privilege for someone to choose me to create something beautiful for them.”
