With the new year, many people are setting goals to lose weight and get in shape as part of their 2013 resolutions.  For others, the new year means watching their favorite football teams during the NFL playoffs.  In-Shape health club is offering the best of both worlds inviting members and guests to watch the games while working out.

Members and guests are invited to visit any nearby In-Shape during NFL game time; the gym is waving traditional guest fees on game days through Jan. 20.

“January is the month of getting back into shape from the holidays,” said In-Shape spokesperson Michelle Clark.  “We’re offering our guests and inviting members the best of both worlds by watching the games on dozens of In-Shape flat screens.  We want to change the way people watch the games.”

In-Shapes will provide guests with big screen HD TVs throughout their facilities.  This new promotion encourages guests to experience the NFL playoffs from a different perspective.

“In-Shape is more than just a health club – we are a place for people to come together in a healthy, active setting,” said Paul Rothbard, In-Shape chief executive officer. “Everyone loves to eat nachos and pizza and watch football, but we think there’s a better way to participate.  It’s the best time of the year to try something like this.”

In-Shape is located at 2710 Geer Rd. and 2821 Countryside Dr., in Turlock.
