Victory Outreach in Modesto is hosting their first annual Car and Bike Show on Sept. 26, with proceeds to fund their missions that reach out to at-risk youth and people in need.

“Our ministry targets people that struggle with eviction, or men and women that have come from dysfunctional homes,” Gabby Rameno, Youth Leader, said. “ We go to different neighborhoods that maybe most people wouldn’t want to go to and offer those people support and welcome them into our church.”

The Modesto Victory Outreach has been serving neighboring communities for over 30 years.

Admission to the Car and Bike Show is free and it will be a day packed with live bands, food and entertainment.

“It’s a great time for families to come together,” Romeno said. “There will be great music with a positive message, and lots of good times.”

To enter a vehicle or bike in the contest, contact Victory Outreach in Modesto at 522-3394 by Sept. 15.

The event is held at the mission, 1219 N. Carpenter Rd. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Modesto.

“It means so much for the community to come out and support,” Romeno said. “It’s for a great cause.”
