This summer five-time Grammy award winner Wynonna Judd will grace the free stage to kick off the 2014 Stanislaus County Fair.
Judd has been a reliable presence in the country music industry where she has topped countless music charts including having 20 number one hits and over 60 industry awards. With only the price of admission, locals will have the opportunity to witness Judd’s renowned talent in person.
“Wynonna is a staple of the country music industry for over 30 years. We are extremely thrilled to have such a legend perform at out fair,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.
Besides her iconic vocal performance, Judd has also competed in ABC’s Dancing with the Stars television program, written a novel “Restless Heart,” which is currently in stores and debuted on a docu-series titled “The Judds” on the Oprah Winfrey Network in 2011.
Locals can catch Judd and The Big Noise on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m. July 11. Fair admission tickets can be purchased starting on May 3. Unlimited ride wristbands and the fair season pass will also be on sale along with discounted corporate tickets. All tickets include access to the free stage, which guarantees a performance each night.
Other fair offerings include 30,000 local exhibits, over 1,750 animals, motorsports, rodeo, and rides and games.
