Those hoping to see Craig Ferguson at the Turlock Community Theatre this Friday had their hopes dashed late last week when the comedian announced he would not make his scheduled appearance and has no plans to reschedule.

The theatre was told Friday that Ferguson would not make his scheduled March 4 show “Due to unforeseen circumstances.” Ferguson also cancelled a scheduled show in Chico set for March 3.

The March 4 show already was a rescheduled makeup show for his appearance in December that also was cancelled.

The theatre stated there are no plans to reschedule another show and will give full refunds to ticketholders over the next few weeks.

“Although out of our control, we do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our patrons,” the theatre wrote in a news release.

Ferguson is the host of the new show “Join or Die” on the History Channel. He previously was the host of “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.”

TCT’s Managing Director Kit Casey said the theatre was currently contacting ticketholders to arrange for the refunds.
