The Turlock Youth Performing Arts is opening the curtain on their production of “Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.,” on Friday for a three-day run.
The musical, which is based on the Disney version features some of the well-known tunes, as well as a few surprises, said TYPA President Janice Anderson.
The show features a 45-member cast of 8 to 14 year old singers, dancers, and actors.
“There was so much talent, it was difficult to draw the line at 45,” Anderson said.
The show runs about one and a half hours and is appropriate for those three years and older.
“This is one of the largest shows we’ve done and I think families will really enjoy it,” Anderson said.
Show times are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. All shows are at the Turlock Community Theatre at 1574 East Canal Drive.
Tickets are $10 adults and $8 students/seniors and are available at Yonan’s Jewelers or by calling 537-5227. Tickets will also be available at the door.
