Adeline (Lena) Mattos Borrelli was born to Mr. & Mrs. Manuel F. Mattos in Novemebr,1917 and left us in the early hours of Tuesday morning.  She was the third of 11 children and grew up in the Hughson, Denair, Turlock area.  On November 20, 1938, she married the milkman - her sweetheart - John Borrelli.  She resided in Hilmar over 65 years. Lena is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, her parents and 9 siblings.  She is survived by her children, Yvonne Fortado, Donald(Phyllis) Borrelli, Sylvia (Russ) Van Hook of Turlock and Sandra (Bruce) Borrelli Arkell of Reno, 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and her sister Rose Stinnette of Seaside.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 4th from 4 to 8 pm at Allen Mortuary.  Rosary & Mass will be held at 10am, on Saturday, Nov. 5 (her 99th birthday) at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hilmar.  Burial will follow at North Hilmar Cemetery.
