Agnes Allison, 94, of Modesto, passed peacefully at Casa de Modesto on Wednesday, Nov. 11 with her family by her side.
Agnes was born in Missoula, Mont. to Karl Johan Helmer Elmer Pearson and Sigrid Pearson in 1915. An accountant and bookkeeper for over 40 years, it was only natural that she became a “couch scorekeeper” for her favorite team, the San Francisco Giants. Her infectious laughter and giggle became her trade mark to anyone that met her. She always said her greatest accomplishments were her three children.
She is survived by her children, Teresa (Grant) Western of Modesto, Sydney (Steve) Walker of Eugene, Ore. and Douglas (Maria) Walker of Modesto; brother, Lloyd Pearson; sister, Marion Welch; grandchildren, Sheri Frey, Stacey Boyers, Nick Kean, Kevin Gregerson, Garrett Western, Carissa Western, Stephen Lunny and Eric Walker; and three great grandchildren, all who knew her as “Mimi.”
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Nicole Lunny.
The family will be holding a private celebration of her life and asks that any remembrances be sent to Casa de Modesto, 1745 Eldena Way, Modesto, CA 95350 in her name. She will forever be in our hearts.
Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. Please share your memories at www.allenmortuary.com.
