Louis was born on December 19, 1921 in Switzerland. He and his wife, Anna came to California in 1955. Together they raised five children and enjoyed seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by his wife, Anna Bucher and his daughter, Rita Bucher.

He is survived by his children, Erwin (Sandy) Bucher, son in-law Jack Wright, Tony (Sharon) Bucher, Vreni Rommel, Ruth (Ron) Agresti; grandchildren, Rudy (Stacey) Bucher, Carrie Bucher, Summer (James) Shoates, Zachary Wright, Anissa (Mark) Crivelli, Jason Agresti, Clinton Agresti; great grandchildren, Abby Crivelli, Joey Crivelli, Alice Bucher and Owen Bucher, Story Agresti.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. on Thurs., Jan. 12, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist, Rd., Turlock CA. A mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Fri., Jan. 13, at Our Lady of Assumption, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock.  Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
