Bettie Jane Sarment passed away peacefully on March 11, 2017 at Covenant Village Care Center in Turlock, at the age of 96.  Bettie was born to parents Wellington and Emily Brown.

Bettie lived in Turlock most of her life and retired from Turlock Joint Union High School District Office after 23 years

Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, Antone (Tony) Sarment, daughter, Susan Schmidt, and two sisters.  She is survived by her son Lanny (Nancy) Sarment, seven Grandsons, and 9 Great Grandchildren
