Betty Mae Kays was born in Denair, California on March 12, 1938. Passed from this world surrounded by her loving family on May 6, 2017 at the age of 79.  She is preceded in death by her parents Odies D Babb, and Mary V Babb.

Betty's love and passion was serving the Lord and taking care of her family.   She was a homemaker, artist, seamstress, sculptor, and loved showing her grandchildren how to create as well.  She could turn something damaged into a work of art.  She made beauty out of anything she touched.  One of our favorite things you sculpted were your whimsical snowman scenes.  They are Beautiful.   We all love looking at your drawings wishing we had that talent as well.  You taught your children, and grandchildren to love working together.  We will love and miss you Mom, and Grams, always.  You are Grams, Mom, Aunt Betty to so many others.  Peace be your Beautiful Journey, We are all Happy for you.

Betty is survived by her children:  Raynell  (Ron) Silva, Sharolyn  (Michel) Blondin, Gail Kays, Robin Paulissian, Olga  (Jesse) Garcia.  She has 19 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway in Turlock CA, on Fri, May 12, 2017 from 3-7pm.  A celebration of life service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 1660 Arbor Way in Turlock CA 95380 on Sat, May 13, 2017 at 11am with burial to follow at Denair Cemetery.  Reception will follow, at the church.
