Bill W. Wasson
Dec 1946 – Nov 2018
Bill W. Wasson

Bill Wasson, a quiet man who loved to tease and gave his life to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, passed away with his loving family by his side.  Bill was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Theodore and Ruth Wasson in the winter of 1946.  At the age of 8 years, Bill’s family moved to Stanislaus County.

International Paper of Modesto was where Bill spent 42 years of his career as a machine operator.  Bill liked his down time and he and his wife Sandy enjoyed camping, traveling with their 5th wheel to the coast, as well as boating especially on the delta fishing for Stripers.  He also loved to go shopping with his mother-in-law.  Bill’s “smirky” grin and contrary nature spoke volumes to those around him.  Bill loved his grandkids and they were his world.  Bill will be deeply, deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bill is waiting in Heaven for his wife Sandy; children Kristi (Ed) Townsend, Billy Wasson Jr., Alisa Wasson and Lynn (Ginger) Nielson; siblings Teresa and Jim Wasson; mother-in-law Naomi Delzer; in-laws Sharon and Joe Wylie; grandchildren Josh, Caitlyn, Rachel, Carissa and a very special Yorkee/Terrier Yoshi.   Bill joined two of his beloved grandchildren in Heaven, Trista and Tyler along with his Shiatzu Scooter.

Private inurnment will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.  Please share your memories at www.AllenMortuary.com.
