Brandy Gomes, 23, passed away Monday, Aug. 23. She was born Nov. 30, 1986, in Modesto, Calif. to Greg Gomes and Cynthia Patrias. She was raised in Turlock, where she graduated from Turlock High School in 2004. She was currently enrolled at Heald College to get her degree in nursing. Her interests included her family, children, cooking, and her dog Lacee.
Brandy is survived by her father, Greg Gomes; mother, Cynthia Patrias; sisters, Amber Tovar, April Kimble, Bailey Metcalf and Ashley Gomes; and grandparents, Joe and Emily Gomes, and Darrale and Joyce Patrias.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Program, P.O. Box 809, Chico, CA 95927.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27 at Allen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28 at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway, Turlock.
