Brian “Tom” Julius, 89, of Turlock, passed away in the comfort of his home, with his loving family by his side.
Brian was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, to Edward and Eileen Smith. Brian was a lifelong orchardist, owning and cultivating orchards thought the Central Valley. Brian was also a member of many organizations; he was a life time member of the Turlock Stepping Pards, SIRS, Ballico Senior Luncheon Club, he was also a faithful member of the St. Francis Anglican Church of Turlock.
Brian and his loving wife of 66 years were members of the Turlock Pleasure Seekers RV Club. Through their many travels, he and Lois traveled the U.S. and abroad, including the land of his ancestors, Greece, which he took great pride in.
Brian is survived by his wife, Lois Julius, and daughter Toni Olson, both of Turlock; two granddaughters; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 17 at the St. Francis Anglican Church of Turlock.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to The St. Francis Memorial Fund, 915 E. Main St., Turlock, CA 95380 or Hospice of Emanuel, 825 Delbon Ave., Turlock, CA 95380. Private interment will take place at a later date at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
