Beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, mamaw and friend, Carol went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, while at home with her family by her bedside.

Carol was born in Fresno and raised in Kerman, where she met and married her true love, Clarence E. King.

Clarence and Carol celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year and served in church ministry for over 45 years.  Carol occasionally worked outside the home, with her most recent career being a travel agent with Ray Travel in Turlock.

She loved spending time with her precious family and special friends.

Carol is survived by her husband, Clarence E. King of Turlock; children, Dana (Greg) Esquer, Kelli (Robert) Clark, Scott (Stephanie) King, Jonathan King and Patrick (Tabitha) King; sister, Joyce Johns of Texas; 15 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Bessie Johns of Spring, Texas, formerly of Kerman.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, followed by a celebration of life service at 7:30 p.m. at the Revival Center, 7th and I streets, Modesto.  A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16 at Turlock Memorial Park.
