Passed away at her home in Turlock, California at the age of 68, Mrs. Gonzales was a native of Alpine, Texas and graduated from Sal Ross State University in Alpine Texas.  Elodia worked for California State Department of E.D.D. for 35 years as Department Manager, she retired from the department 12 years ago. Elodia was a loving devoted mother and wife.
Mr. and Mrs. Gonzales were married for 46 years. Attended Montevista Chapel and New Life Center.
She is survived by; Husband LeeRoy V. Gonzales of Turlock, CA., son Kenny Allen Gonzales of Turlock CA, daughter Janet L. Whisenant of Healdsburg, CA, brother Oscar Teague of Turlock, CA, Sister Betty Embury of Turlock. 7 Grandchildren, Robbie Whisenant, Kenny Gonzales, Jr., Brendon Whisenant,
Antonio Gonzales, Santana Gonzales, Nickolas Whisenant, Yasmin Masias and 1 Great Grandchild

Funeral Service in Alpine Texas will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2012, First Assembly Church of God, 1802 Ft. David Hy, Alpine, Texas 79830. Burial at Holy Angels Cemetery, Alpine, Texas.
