Florence Louise Rauch was born in Flora, Ill. in 1917 to Walter and Anna Klein. She was an avid fisherwoman, loved to travel and enjoyed gardening. She was an excellent mother and homemaker and was a faithful Lutheran. She was a real estate broker and taught real estate for 10 years; she also worked as a substitute teacher for Modesto City Schools.
Florence is survived by her children, Roger Rauch of Modesto and John (Lynne) Rauch of Stockton; and granddaughter, Kelly Ann Rauch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur John Rauch. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 6 at Grace Lutheran Church in Modesto.
