George Macias Rodriguez, 59, of Hughson, died on July 12. He was born in Phoenix, Ariz. When he moved to Turlock, he worked as an auto mechanic for 20 years. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hughson. He enjoyed working with cars and going to car shows. He loved spending time with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his daughters, Alejandra Rodriguez of Hughson and Karina Origel of Hughson; and granddaughters, Julia, Stella, Valerie and Natalie.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 18 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 18 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. A mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, July 19 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
