Geraldine France, 60, of Ceres passed away at her home on Friday, Dec. 17 after a short illness.
A lifelong California resident, she moved to Stanislaus County within the last few months. Although she never married, Geraldine became a part of the extended family of Ed and Evlyn Hart. A relationship that began 10 years ago as a renter became much closer as she and the Hart family “adopted” each other and she became like a another grandmother to their family. She was a very kind, caring, compassionate person who loved to demonstrate her love to the children. She loved nature and watching nature shows on TV. She went out of her way to be a blessing to others. She will be greatly missed.
