Harvey Earl Brooks died peacefully in Modesto, California on November 5, 2017 at the age of 89.

Earl is survived by his daughter Earlene Cunningham and son-in-law David Cunningham, of Turlock, California; grandchildren David Cunningham (Michael Harrison) of Concord, California; Sarah Dalman (Jeffrey Dalman) of Modesto, California; Sister, Lauraine Comly (Charles Comly), of Turlock, California and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his First and Second wives, Ruth Lucille Brooks, of Turlock, California; Katherine Brooks, of Turlock, California; and Brother, Donald Brooks of Moline, Illinois.

Earl was born on December 26, 1927 in Greentop, Missouri to Harvey George Brooks and Laura Anna Brooks.

Earl was an accomplished Cement Contractor and Almond Farmer and was happiest when he was working on his farm. He was an active and dedicated member of the Calvary Baptist Church and often volunteered there.

Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, November 14 at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway, Turlock.

A private family graveside service will be held at Turlock Memorial Park.
