Jack Sommers, 82, passed away at home in Modesto.
Jack was born in SFO, and raised in the Noe Valley. He served in WWII as a Merchant Marine. He was married for 58 years to the lovely Susan Ashworth Duff of Ross, CA. He was a mechanic and engineer for 50 years in the ball bearing industry.
Jack is survived by his sons, Bruce and Stuart; daughter, Cynthia; six grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. God Bless them all with quality of life.
