James A. Koehn was born to Samuel and Hilda (Schmidt) Koehn on May 14, 1937 at Fredonia, KS. He passed away on September 22, 2013 at Grace Home in Livingston, CA; at 76 years of age. 
In 1945 he moved with his family to Winton, CA. He spent about 4 years of his young years in Bloss Hospital in Atwater, CA, due to hip disease. 
He returned to the area of his family in the early 1970’s, living in Delhi, CA and operating a restaurant for a time.   He leaves to mourn his passing, four sisters; Ruth and husband, John Toews, Della and husband Dan Giesbrecht, Pearl of Livingston, CA and Bertha and her husband, Wildon Giesbrecht of Atwater, two brothers; Raymond and wife, Bonnie of Winton and Frank and wife, Lillian of Atwater. 
Preceding him in death are his parents and two sisters; Lorene and Helen. Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 4-8PM at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel. Services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2PM at The Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in Livingston, with burial to follow at Winton District Cemetery.
