Jon Michael Dimter, 52, died of liver cancer on Saturday, March 26. Mr. Dimter grew up in Cupertino. For the past 12 years, he worked at the Fremont Unified School District as the director of finance.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Patterson Ward. 

Mr. Dimter is survived by his grandparents, Vivian and Clarence Simmons; mother, Karen Bird; wife, Grace Dimter; children, Steven Dimter, Sarah Reeves, Brian Dimter, Rebecca Coughran and James Dimter; and sisters, Jolina Evans, Sheri Futch and Michelle Brower.  

His father, Lauren Dimter, preceded him in death.  

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 18601 Crows Landing Rd., Crows Landing. Burial will be at the Turlock Memorial Park Cemetery, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
