Josephine Gearhardt, 89, of Turlock, passed away at Elness Convalescent Hospital after a long illness. Josephine was born in Durango, Colorado to Frank and Guadalupe Martinez. She completed her high school education and spent most of her adult life as a homemaker in her own home. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and making puzzles. Josephine loved to worship the Lord through the sign language ministry at Crossroads Free Church.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Herbert Gearhardt in 1996, her 5 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by nieces and nephews and her adopted granddaughter Jorie Baltz of Turlock. Friends are invited to honor Josephine with a memorial gift to Crossroads Church, 1360 N. Johnson Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
