Laura passed away in Hilmar at the age of 94.  Laura was born in Arnesen, Rocky Point, Minnesota to Bernard and Agnes Arnesen.  She graduated from business college in Duluth, Minnesota and moved to San Francisco.  Laura worked as a personal secretary to the President of Garnett Young & Co.  After marrying her Navy husband Arthur, they lived in Oakland for 12 years, then moved to Livermore where Arthur worked. 

Laura was a full-time mother and homemaker.  She and Arthur were married for 62 years.  After his passing she moved to Turlock and lived at Paramount Court.

Her passion was music.  Laura played violin, organ and piano.  She loved playing for her family and friends. 

Laura is survived by her daughter Bonnie Thompson of Hilmar, son Arthur and fiancé Joanne of Livermore, granddaughters Traci (Dan) Jacobazzi of Chicago and Nicki (Zac) Jarvis of Hilmar, great grandsons Trent and Jax Jarvis of Hilmar and Luca Jacobazzi of Chicago. 

A memorial service will be held at a future date at Paramount Court in Turlock.
