Larry was born in Arizona, and lived in multiple cities in California as well as Colorado before settling in the Turlock area. He retired from Swanson Farms after 25 plus years. He enjoyed maintaining a small personal farm for many years in Stevenson, CA after his retirement. 

Survivors include his children John Blevins, Patty Haggerty, Nita Blevins, and Retha Nordyke; 10 grandchildren, 12 great – grandchildren, and many dear friends and close relatives. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Shirley Blevins, daughter Peggy Hill, and granddaughter Kelly Murphy. 

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on June 17, 2016 at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
