Loren LeRoy Nyman is now in the loving arms of Jesus. He was not afraid to share his opinion or crack a joke to anyone, be it his close friends and family or people he had just met. He loved to make people smile and was always a bright light in any room he entered.

Loren was born in Turlock, CA to Martin and Olivia Nyman.  Growing up on a dairy farm in Hilmar CA, he gained a hard work ethic that he continued and taught for the rest of his life; be it to his daughters or those that were lucky enough to have him as a teacher. He graduated with a degree in Agriculture Science from Fresno State and a teaching credential from UC Davis. He was an Ag teacher for 35 years, with many of those years teaching at Modesto High School. He was a FFA advisor and spent numerous hours outside of work helping his students with animal science, mechanics, horticulture, and woodworking projects or at local and state fairs.

Loren is survived by his wife Linda; daughters Karin Andahazy (Zole) and Christine Maffei (Craig); and four grand children- Silas, Olivia, Jonas and Nicholas; siblings Marjorie Nystrom, Lloyd Nyman and Lavonne Wingett.  Loren is preceded in death by his parents and older brother Delton Nyman.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 am Friday, April 7, 2017 at Hilmar Covenant Church.  A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 pm at North Hilmar Cemetery with a reception following at 2:30 pm at Hilmar Cheese Company. Memorial contributions can be made in Loren’s memory to Turlock Covenant Missionary Fund or Alexander Cohen Hospice House c/o Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356.  Please share your memories at www.AllenMortuary.com.
