Lorrayne Eleanor Stafford was born on June 24, 1917, and after 93 years of life, laughter and love, she left this world and returned to our Lord. Lorrayne grew up in Turlock and lived most of her life in Modesto with her husband of 56 years, Keary Edward Stafford. She was a lifelong member of the Modesto Covenant Church and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Turlock. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Stafford of Modesto; sisters, Marjorie Daley of Oregon and Marlene Jerner of Turlock; daughter-in-law, Barbara Stafford of Modesto; grandchildren, Veronica (Randy) Overturf, Sue Ann Bowman, Terry Nichols and Sabra Stafford of Modesto, and Sgt. Scott Stafford (Tammy) of Ft. Lewis, Wash.; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Keary Stafford of Ft. Lewis, Wash., Randy and Rachel Overturf, Brieanna (Cody) Sims and Dylan Bowman of Modesto,  Aaron (May) Bowman of Hawaii, and Ryan Overturf of Alabama; and great great grandchildren, Tori and Hannah Sims of Modesto, Lexi Bowman of Hawaii, and Kaden Lamb of Alabama. Lorrayne is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well. She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, James Stafford; and several siblings.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 2.
