Marie Margaret Vierra was born and raised in Hughson, CA., to John and Anna Babtista.  Marie was the 4th of 11 children.  Marie married her devoted husband, Alfred J. Vierra in 1936, and they were blessed with 7 years of marriage. They lived most of their lives in Turlock, where they raised their 2 daughters.  Marie retired from Tri-Valley Growers.  She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, parents John and Anna Baptista, and 5 siblings.   Marie is survived by her daughters, Shirley Stewart (Jack), Marlene McClellan (Jim), granddaughters Michele Jalli (Leonard), Kristen Miller (Jeff), Nicole Cipriano (Jeff), 5 great grandchildren, and 5 siblings, Florence Avelar, Albert Baptista, Mabel Teicheria, Margaret Oliviera, and Raymond Baptista.  Marie and Alfred shared their final years together at Casa De Modesto retirement home.  Marie’s family thanks the amazing staff for their compassionate care.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:30 pm on December 3, 2012 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, CA.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on December 4, 2013 at the Turlock Funeral Home, followed by entombment in the Chapel of Flowers Mausoleum at Turlock Memorial Park.
