Marie Orhategaray

Marie Orhategaray, 87, of Turlock, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Covenant Village Care Center in Turlock. She was born 1924 in France. She came to Gardnerville, Nevada in the late 1950's and then to Chino, California in 1962. She settled in Turlock in 1965 and started a dairy. She belonged to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling and the outdoors.
Marie is survived by her son John Orhategaray, daughter Marie Peterson, son-in-law Bob Peterson, sister Teresa Dubois, brother Leon Revoredo, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Martin, one sister Gracie, and two brothers Raymond and Albert.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 11am with recitation of the Rosary to follow at 7pm both at Allen Mortuary.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
