We announce with great sorrow the passing of Mary Varda, on February 14, 2018 at the age of 91. 

A native of Iran, Mary lived in The United States for the past 50 years and made Turlock her home for the past 22 years. She is survived by her three children Dumarina Sarguis, spouse Francis; Asaradon Tarin, spouse Fiona; and Nineveh Alvarez, spouse Edward; four grandchildren, Trevor, Alexandra, Brittany, and Donny; and her brother, Albert; as well as, numerous relatives and friends.

Mary loved to read, travel, garden, and cook. Most of all she liked spending time with her family, with her friends, and with her cat, Lulu. Her family will miss her terribly, but consider themselves fortunate to have had her as long as they did. Rest in peace, Mom. Heaven has gained a new angel. 

Church services will be held on Monday, February 26, at 10:30am , at the St John’s Assyrian Presbyterian Church, 450 South Palm Street , Turlock, CA.
