Milton Cederlind was born in Newman Grove, Neb. in 1920 to parents Frank and Augusta Cederlind.  He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, where he earned his pilot wings.  He was stationed in India and China. When he returned home to Nebraska, Milton met and married Lucille, his wife of 62 years.  They farmed and raised their family in Nebraska before settling in Turlock in 1965.  In 1982, he retired from his position as safety engineer from Banquet Foods.  Milton was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church which is now Light of Christ Church in Turlock, Sons of Norway, and Teamsters Local Union #748.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lucille; son, Greg; daughters, Joni, Gwen, Donna and MarthaAnn; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Milton was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie; and his parents and sisters.
Viewing will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 15 at Allen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 16 at Allen Mortuary. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
